It has been officially confirmed: 585 homes in Lake County were lost to the Valley Fire. At an average of 3 people per household, that means that roughly 1800 people are now homeless and displaced. While the government is working on securing temporary mobile homes that could be placed on the burned properties while the families rebuild, there is still no telling how long that could take, nor how practical these homes will be.
These families need homes now.
